Industrial Innovation Scholarship Program (IIS)
University-business partnerships in support of the acquisition of professional skills
This in-field research scholarship program is offered jointly by the Fonds québécois de la recherche sur la nature et les technologies (FQRNT) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) in partnership with the APIA.
The IIS program is a bursary created to develop innovative potential and encourage innovation in Agri-food businesses through the forming of research and development partnerships between businesses and universities. All innovation aspects are targeted: new technologies, new production technologies, new processes, emerging market development, new products, development of client base in foreign countries, new services, etc.
All full-time 2nd or 3rd cycle Quebec students in Agri-Food Engineering may acquire experience and practical skills within an Agri-food business, consortium and/or private industrial group looking to benefit from highly qualified personnel.
